THE IVORY TOWER

The show invite us to reflect on our ideals of modern lifestyle in a world on an unsustainable path of 'progress'. 
This 30 minute-long outdoor physical theatre show is suitable for all. It's free standing ten-metre tall steel tower gives the audience a 360 degree view of the show and it's iconic shape quickly becomes a point of reference in any outdoor festival. While the performers dance, climb and free-fall through the air (and even play live music), they pit the pursuit of understanding and the practical concerns of everyday life against  the esoteric, over-specialised and generally useless need for control of today's society.
